What is epiCaptiva and what does it do?
Designed for specialist learning and system simulation content developers, epiCaptiva delivers unprecedented flexibility

Using the Epiance award winning 'capture' technology epiCaptiva simply records the steps and functions of the tasks within a software
application and generates a variety of desired simulation and document types including:

remotely -
away from the

 Store : Once a task is completed and recorded, the information is stored. epiplex500 provides the usual options for|
saving and
storing work. The captured and stored files can now be used many times without the need to recapture each
of the business processes
or tasks again.
 Develop & Edit : epiCaptiva provides rich editing features that allow users the opportunity to review, edit, sort and
sequence the
specific task steps in a captured file. In editor mode it is easy to add annotations, callouts (Help Bubbles),
'sticky notes', Audio & Video,
a variety of graphical elements ( boxes , arrows etc) as well as links to other knowledge
and information that maybe relevant to a
particular task or process. A single recorded file may be used to generate
multiple simulations, e-learning outputs, MS PowerPoint
presentations and documents in the form of Software
Documentation, End User Manuals, Product Manuals, Testing Guides, User Guides,
Sign Off documents, Training Course

 Publish : Once editing has been finalised, Simulation and Document Outputs can be published in the following
