The Enterprise Performance Improvement business unit of Epiance Inc of California became a separate and
independent business through a Management Buy-Out (MBO) in September 2007. The award winning technology of
the epiplex suite of products form the corner stone of the new businesses focus with addition of a Performance Consulting practice. The new company Epiance Software Pvt Ltd is headquartered in Bangalore India with operations
in Melbourne, Australia and Japan. The original company was founded in 2001 in Fairfax, Virginia.

The epiplex suite of products provides business process performance solutions around the globe. epiplex has customers
in insurance, financial services, telecommunications, technology, utilities and government, including: Aetna, The Hartford,
Morgan Stanley, IBM, Cisco, Microsoft, NEC, Canon, Hitachi, Nissan, Toyota, SBC, and the United States Internal
Revenue Service. epiplex partners with top resellers and systems integrators to provide tailored process performance
solutions in the United States, UK and Europe, Japan, Australia, Asia pacific and the Middle East.

History

Epiance established immediate leadership in mass-customized process training technology with epiplex, an
award-winning software product suite. epiplex made it possible, for the first time, to quickly and completely capture
correct application usage by subject matter experts, generating deliverable process training simulations and
documentation in hours instead of days or weeks. In 2001, epiplex extended the application of its unique capture
technology to the end user desktop with IDT and epiCoach, providing just-in-time guidance and assistance to all
application users.

In 2005, epiplex raised the bar again, introducing Process Performance Analysis to measure how people are performing business processes, identify processes for improvement and validate the effectiveness of process training over time.
